Israeli multi-media artist Talia Link created her digital collages depicting seven portraits of women equipped with symbols associated with various cultures, nationalities, religions, images and brands. Her message is multilayered and essential to the representation of women in culture today. Women who are feminine and strong at the same time are usually portrayed as a witch, marginalized and persecuted as demonic figures. The artist encourages to see them as their predecessors and identify with their centuries-old legacy, represent a global oneness in which women are symbols of power.
